Several years ago, Kenn Kaufman (I think) did a nicely
illustrated, useful piece for _American Birds_ on distinguishing
the races and interbreeds of Northern Flickers. (I'm away
from my _American Birds" collection right now and can't
remember the particular issue.)

Does anyone remember that article?
