Our best raptor interaction was observed across from the Oak Creek Game
Station along Route 12 and the Tieton River. There is a Golden Eagle which
is reported to nest there. We saw a large bird over the ridge and put up
the binocs. I saw a Red-tail and wondered what was going on. Meanwhile,
Bill called out "Peregrine". After a little confusion, we saw that all 3
were there. The redtail was harassing the eagle, the peregrine was
bothering the redtail. The eagle looked like it was trying to defend its
homesite.
