Since I haven't seen this yet, I'll post a brief report on our Thunder Mt.
trip with Mary Poss. I went with Kelly Cassidy, and we only stayed for
Saturday. I hope Mary or somebody else will post a complete report of
what was seen Sunday.
Long Swamp Campground:
**Great Gray Owl, Friday evening at 6:30 PM
Mountain Chickadee
Golden-crowned Kinglet
Hairy Woodpecker
Steller's Jay
Gray Jay
Clark's Nutcracker
Common Raven
Barred Owl - seen well Saturday afternoon
Thunder Mt. Burn (Saturday only)
Mountain Chickadee
Golden-crowned Kinglet
Spruce Grouse
Three-toed Woodpecker
Steller's Jay
Gray Jay
Clark's Nutcracker
Common Raven
Red Crossbill
Lincoln's Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Cooper's Hawk
Red-tailed Hawk

Hopefuly I didn't overlook anything. Despite two nights of effort, Kelly
and I failed to turn up any Boreal Owls. Temperatures were cold, it was
seventeen degrees Friday night, and snowed on and off all day Saturday.
