Subject: Prairie Falcon in Tacoma?

Traveling northbound between exit 132 (Gig Harbor/Bremerton) and the Tacoma
Dome on Friday evening around 6:30 pm my husband and I got a two second or so
glance at what we both described as a falcon flying over the ridge. It
looked as though it had strikingly dark axials. Is this a reasonable place to
have seen a Prairie Falcon at this season or are we perhaps being fooled by
the Tacoma Peregrine Falcons?
