Hi tweets -- I have three questions:

1) I'm looking for a good area to release 20 female Lapland longspurs who
have done their duty for science and now get to go free. ("We apologize
for any inconvenience this may have caused. We now return you to your
life, already in progress.") They've molted well and are in good shape.
I'd like to put them somewhere with agricultural fields, preferably
somewhere where flocks of Laplands are commonly or occasionally seen
during fall and/or winter. So -- I would appreciate any information
about where people have seen Lapland flocks in or near Wash. state in fall
or winter, in the last few years. Precise directions especially
appreciated!

2) The WOS convention is this weekend, right? Is there still room for
the field trips on Thurs. and/or Fri? Is it possible to attend just for
one or two days? Is it possible to show up on the day itself with no
prior registration?

3) Someone please remind me how to subscribe to tweeters. I have a friend
who would like to sign on.

Thanks -
Kathleen
