Fellow tweetsters, thanks in advance for help with the two following
questions:

1) I suspect that last Sunday and Monday were good
migrating-hawk-watching days, since they were fairly sunny days following
rainy, cloudy days. Is my reasoning right for weather conditions? Does
anyone have a report from RedTop Mountain or Diamond Head on hawks
migrating through in the last two days?

2) Is there a spot in the Olympia area where birders could watch swifts
swirling into a chimney? I remember reading some reports from Olympia
last Fall, but I don't know a specific location, or whether people could
watch the action without bothering the residents (human).
