A short seawatch (6:20--7:10 PM PDT: started so late 'cause it takes so
flaming long to get home from work) at the Anchor sculpture at the W end of
Spanish Banks. Large crowds also there for the eclipse.

Highlights: big (700+) Surf Scoter influx; 4 Red-throated Loons, 3 Black
Scoters with the Surf Scoters; 3 Parasitic Jaegers.

Conditions: temp: 10 degrees C; wind: NW 5 km/hr; cloud: high cirrus haze;
barom: high, steady; tide: slack high; sea state: light NW ripple to calm by
sunset.
