Dear Young Birders,

If you know someone with a good spotting scope, say 60x power or better, you
can see the rings around saturn and see one of it's moons, Titan (it is a
little point of light to the right of Saturn and slightly above it).
Also, towards the western part of the sky is Jupiter. The same scope will let
you see three or four of its biggest moons (the ones which Galileo saw for the
first time with his new invention - the telescope!). You can even see the
striped clouds in Jupiter's atmosphere!

We saw all this last night while watching the eclipse.
