Plant fruit trees and shrubs. In my yard they eat the fruits of mountain
ash (the European one), serviceberries, hawthorns, and currants. Plants
that fruit in the fall will usually attract them, as they're roaming all
over the place looking for same.

They're not interested in feeders or bird houses.
