Subject: Orange-winged blackbirds?

Yesterday I had a whole flock of blackbirds in my yard with orange markings
on the wings where the red usually is. Of the ten or so birds, two perhaps
had typical red-wing markings, but all the rest had bright orange instead.
I can't find any reference to this phenomenon in any of my books. Does
anyone know anything about this? Are they morphs? Is it a phase?

Thanks for any insight.
