Dear Tweeters:
As we were starting the Marymoor path we came up to the river. At first
we saw a bunch of Mallards, then we noticed a white duck, This is the
first time I saw a Common Merganser. I then flew away.

Dear Tweeters:
We made much more progress than the last trip. In the middle of the park
we saw two Red-tails flying in the wind. When we went to the lake we saw a
Western Grebe and many Mallards. We saw a Common Merganser flying and a
Double-creasted Cormorant and a Bald Eagle [Adult]

Dear tweeters,
Yesterday, when we were walking along the Marymoor Park
boardwalk, we stopped at the dock. About a hundred feet away from us,
there was a Northern Harrier, hovering about because it thought it had
seen prey. That was the second Harrier we saw.

Dear Tweeters:

Yesterday when we were walking the park it was very windy. When I
looked up there was a raptor floating in the air. When I saw it I
thought it would be a Nothern Harrier. After the Harrier flew away a
Red-tailed Hawk flew out of the bushes and we were wondering what would
happen because it was flying next to the Harrier. They passed and went
separate ways.

Dear Tweeters:

Yesterday we went on a Marymoor trip and we didn't see a Cooper's or a
Sharp-shinned Hawk. We saw two Harriers and we saw the two eagles in the
nest.

Today ( April 4th) two classmates and I were walking from the lunch
room when we saw a Sharp Shinned Hawk on the ground puncturing a
pigeon. We yelled out "It's a Sharpie" and we must have startled it
because it flew away. We watched as the pigeon tried to remain alive, but
it failed. We have now put the pigeon in a freezer and are soon going to
dissect it.
