There was something on ladybugs in the gardening part of the
paper....i.e., that a lot of them are purchased in bulk through the
mail by gardeners. Most of these have come from warmer climates (like
Southern California), and they find a warm spot to hibernate in for
the winter. They move outside when it warms up. I guess a lot of
people were finding bunches of them in odd places.

Ladybugs bless the house they live in...they are bearers of good tidings and
luck. They'll also leave the house once it's warm outside.
