Staying at home with a cold, not being able to work in the garden in
the beautiful weather, how awful, except I could really visit with
our birds for long periods.

Changed the chickadee nest box from south to east orientation and we have
nesting BC CHICKADEES again.

The BEWICK WRENs are almost surely nesting or getting ready to. I shall
discreetly attempt to find their nest.

I have great hopes our BUSHTITS will nest in the yard again. They didn't
last year.

GOAL: my shrubs and trees are finally growing in quite well after all the
construction next to us. I'm hoping our yard will be 'fuzzy' enough
to bring back RUFOUS SIDED TOWHEES which used to be common visitors to
the yard.

Yesterday, Sunday, sitting on the porch, we were innundated by
many many forms of ladybugs, everywhere. Practically magical.
