Science Guy. It's amazing to me how many people watch the show. With or
without the intended audience of minors...:)

The Peregrine nestbox underneath the Ballard bridge is occupied by a very
happy couple of Canada Geese. Between my approaching the Department of
Transportation on behalf of the Falcon Research Group (not on my own) and
final placement of the cedar box (only de bottom is plywood, it's an almost
exact replica of the box on the Washington Mutual Tower), well over two months
passed. Meantime the Peregrines we (FRG volunteers) were seeing underneath the
bridges (a similar scenario was played out underneath the West Seattle bridge)
had left.

Of course we're hopeful Peregrines will show up next winter and use the box
next year.

It could still happen.
