Several years ago I ordered ladybugs from someplace in California to combat
aphids in our garden. When I set them loose, however, they had no interest
in eating. They were all on each others backs mating, and after that frenzy
of romance they just took off leaving the garden to me and happily
undisturbed aphids. Now I just let ladybugs come from somewhere? to my
garden and they do well with the aphids.
