Hi,

I am going to be participating in a Cornell Ornithology Lab study of
thrushes and hawks (2 species) in Northwest forests. The sites are to
be
selected by the researcher--guidelines and forms have been sent in a
comprehensive binder from Cornell. The work will involve two visits to
each site this season (April-May, AUgust-September) with more if
possible. The species will be monitored for presence, nesting sites,
etc. If
anyone is interested in "helping out" with this study, I would be happy
to speak with her or him. SUggestions for sites are appreciated; I plan
to
select at least one in a suburban park environment, one near Mt.
Rainier--others not decided yet.
