Subject: Bird Band Info?

A parent of one of my students found a band about four years ago, still
attached to the leg (all that was left!) of a deceased raptor (he thinks).
He found it in "June 1993...2 miles east of StRegis, Montana... near the
Clark Fork River on an old road. The talons and portions of the legs were
all that remained." The following info is on the band:1507-99138, Avise Bird
Band, Write Washington D.C. U.S.A.

Other than writing, might there be someone on Tweeters who would have info?
Would appreciate this message being forwarded to someone who can help, as
this is my first experience trying to get bird band information.

Thanks,
