I had some excellent birding west of town, about the end of the underground
train system. Not certain of the name of the spot. Cross south away from
the huge high rise settlement. There are a couple of lakes within easy
walking distance. White Wagtails and Hooded Crows in abundance.

Further west by the summer palace you can access the beach of the Gulf of
Finland. A group of Ross' Gulls were there when I visited in July three
years ago.
