I just spoke with Debbie Cantlown, who's been starting the rehab process,
and she says he(?) is doing quite well--except that one leg will have to
be amputated. He(she) was quite emcaciated and has just about drained her
supply of mealworms. I'm taking more over later. She said she would
always welcome any donations of that sort since everything she does
comes from her own resources. So if any of you know of a good source or
would like to donate (either food or money), it would help. She thinks
the bird will most likely be with her until the end of summer. She hopes
to teach it to get along on one leg. Again her address is as follows:
