Tweets:

Scott Downes and Kelly McAllister reported seeing their first Swainson's
Thrushes of the year. I can add a skulker seen with difficulty here in town
on the 17th, and two very out-in-the-open birds at the UW Arboretum on
Saturday, flying about as if acquainting themselves with the area. Perhaps
thinking of staking out territories? No chasing or fighting, but lots of
flying, perching in barely-budding trees, looking about as if newly
awakened from sleep.

It's not really spring until the migrant thrushes arrive.
