Four of us birded LSSP on a wet Sat. morning. We had a total of 35 species.
Highlights included:

1 Red-necked Grebe in breeding plumage
2 Purple Finch - first for the year at the park
1 American Goldfinch - another first for the year
4 American Pipit - feeding in grass next to north beach, another first
50 Western Sandpiper flew by
14 Common Merganser
3 Yellow-rumped Warblers
