I agree, Cathi! I'm a lister and a rabid environmentalist and, as a
rehabber face people doing nasty things all the time. Take the boys on the
beach the other day luring seagulls over by tossing rocks up in the air.
When the birds came in thinking it was food they began pelting them with the
larger stones they'd set aside. I yelled at them, but they didn't desist
until my husband told them to stop. Not another person said a word to them.

My point is, if we all wait for someone else to inform people that what they
are doing is unacceptable, nobody will ever stop inappropriate behavior.
