This Sat. morning we had two White-crowned Sparrows come to our millet
feeder, about 18" off ground. This is the first time since 1991 we have had
a WCSP in our yard. Then another surprise this afternoon when one
Golden-crowned Sparrow showed up at the same feeder. This is the first time
we have ever seen a GCSP in our yard. When both are near the feeder at the
same time the GCSP seems to be the domineering one.

Also, the male Pileated Woodpecker is still coming to our peanut butter
feeders once or twice a day. So, it has really been a banner year so far for
our backyard.
