Some in the tweeters community may be interested in an upcoming workshop on
biodiversity information and conservation priorities. Sponsored by Sierra
Biodiversity Institute and Seattle University, the one-day workshop on May
10 aims to explore the state-of-the-art on biodiversity information in WA
state and consider how the emerging data can be used to set more effective
conservation priorities. Speakers will come from WA Dept. of Fish and
Wildlife, WA Natl. Heritage, US EPA, US Forest Service, WA Gap Analysis,
Sierra Biodiversity Institute, and The Nature Conservancy. For those
tweeters subscribers that are interested, please e-mail and I'll send you
the entire program announcement and agenda.
