And I don't think it will happen, either. *Especially* in areas with Mute Swans.

Black Swans actually tried nesting at Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park, and were
successful once or twice, but the Mute Swans just pounded the doodah out of
them and their young to the point that the same Vancouver Park Board which
put them in the same small lake together had to remove the Blackies
literally for their own survival. For a swan species, Australian Black Swans
are actually quite sweet-natured, and the several pairs there were great
pals with a lot of people at the Lagoon. They were certainly no match for
the Mute Swans' thuggish violence. But then what is, other than a
well-equipped NATO peacekeeping force?
