Today, August 3, I had 2 female Red Crossbills at my sunflower seed magnum
feeder. I live in Woodinville, King County. At 6:30 pm they were feeding
with House Finches until finally they were the only 2 left. I got a very
good look at them. They certainly have large tongues. Is this an unusual
occurance to see crossbills here?
I'm adding another new bird to my yard list.
