Hi folks,

Seems that I'm too busy to do much birding recently, but yesterday and today I saw a fledgling scrub jay begging from an adult near the corner of Rodgers and Garfield in west Olympia.

This is only about 3/4 mile (a little over a kilometer, for our BC Tweeters :-) ) from my house. One of these days, I'll have one for my yard list....
