Subject: Franklin's Gull in Renton

Hi Tweets,
A quick check of the Cedar River delta turned up an
immature Franklin's Gull at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday. This is the
second time I've ound this species here; the other was in Sept-
ember of '94 or '95.
The bird was cruising back and forth over the South end
of Lk Washington, apparently looking for food. It did not appear
to be associating with the other gulls, most of which were hybrids
and California Gulls (which like to rest on the N. end of the
airport runway).
