Gulls have been more visible on the Clark campus for about the past 2
weeks. Primarily these have been CALIFORNIA GULLS, and most of these
have been adults (90%). A RING-BILLED was being chased by a CALIFORNIA
today, and the occasional motley GLAUCOUS-WINGED X WESTERN thing has
floated in. Very interesting today were 9 KILLDEER in their traditional
migration habitat, the freshly mown and watered sports field (at Hudson's
Bay HS).

Last Tuesday, there was a female PURPLE MARTIN flying around the
riverside restaurants here as well as a CASPIAN TERN and two WESTERN
GULLS.
