Well, if Tweeters Ruled The Galaxy, what *would* be a good way of finding
out how many birders there are in the US and Canada? Questionnaires at all
bookstores, outdoor equipment, optical equipment and birdseed shops? What
criteria would the questionnaire use? What would be a reliable methodology?
What fields of discrimination would and should there be beyond the usual
age/sex/income/hours in field stuff? Who'd collate?

Boy, there's gotta be an easier way.
