To all my birding friends in the NorthWest. I am repairing binoculars and
spotting scopes through Orion Telescope & Binocular Center here in

I have a great optics & tripod package for sale, anyone concidering a
definitive up-grade, check this out.

Nikon Field Scope II 60mm ED straight-thru with 20 - 45x eyepiece, I think
this may still hold the Better View Desired 60mm Reference Standard title.
Last years list price was way off the scale at $1,769.00! (NO WAY)!

With the scope goes a Bogen 3205 LC (Long column) tripod with a Q/R fluid
head. (Q/R = quick release). This is Bogens mid-size/weight serious tripod.

These goodies come wrapped in a green Scope-Pak, the one designed by
Griggs there in Seattle.

At one time I owned a large flourite 80mm Optolyth, but found it staying
home being punished because of it's weight problem. The Nikon Field Scope II
was the perfect solution curing both weight and size problems in one fell
swoop, with no compromise in brightness or clarity.

Performance/tech stuff. The color correction on this unit literally
compairs to flourite, even though it is only ED. All that to say bye bye
to those anoying neon purple and neon green ghosts at high power while
looking at osprey on a stump surrounded by water reflecting white from
those cloudy skies you guys are stuck with all year!

All equipment is in perfect condition, Asking $1200.00 for all.
