Greetings--

I've been walking in the early am and wind up down at the
Olympia water front where I've been seeing a Kingfisher
or two regularly. I noticed that every time I hear
the call, the bird is in the air...I thought about it
and can not remember even one instance where I heard
a sitting Kingfisher call..bird has always been in the air.
hmm-mmmm..has that been the case commonly for other
Kingfisher-watchers?
