Michael Price provided some good answers to my question about northern
(i.e., B.C.) records for Elegant Terns, as well as suggestions as to where
we could try to spot them up in his neck of the bay - thank you! Then

Well, I for one will be keeping my eyes open! Frigatebirds were on my mind
today, too (mostly thinking about an upcoming pelagic trip off Monterey =).
Maybe Tofino *will* end up with Elegants this El Nino. And maybe if we all
concentrate really hard -- choose a species! -- we can persuade the nature
gods to continue their largess ...
