I will be camping with my family at Seaquest State Park (just east of
Castle Rock, off I-5) this weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun nights). Unless the
weather totally disintegrates, we will also visit the Mt. St. Helens
area. This is not a birding trip but I do anticipate opportunities to
bird, especially at Seaquest.

Any birding tips on the area would be appreciated as I have no
familiarity with the park. Any WESTERN SCRUB-JAYS in the area? Any
good chance of OWLS? WOODPECKERS? (My focus will be adding to my
meager state list and finding woodpeckers and perhaps owls.)
