This is Dale Goble with the northern Idaho / eastern Washington /
northeastern Oregon bird hotline.

Dan Svingen visted Tolo Lake west of Grangeville on Monday and
Tuesday. The most significant finds were 4 HORNED GREBES on
Monday the 18th and juvenile RUDDY TURNSTONE on Tuesday the
19th. In addition, there were 13 BAIRD SANDPIPERS, 1 WILSON'S
PHALAROPE, 2 AMERICAN AVOCETS AND 100+ waterfowl -- mostly
NORTHERN SHOVELERS and PINTAILS. ID De Lorme p. 55, C4.

Kas and Debby stopped at Mann Lake on Saturday on their way south.
The most significant finds were a FORESTERS TERN and 5 STILT
SANDPIPERS. In addition there were the usual suspects: LONG-BILLED
DOWITCHERS, LEAST. SEMIPALMATED, WESTERN, BAIRD, AND
PECTORAL SANDPIPERS.
