Subject: tweeters message about Dennis Paulson event at REI on Sept. 29
There is some confusion in that people think they can reserve seats here
simply by calling. Could you clarify this message?
They can call here (206 523-4483) between 10am and 4pm Monday through
Friday and reserve a seat by using either their Mastercard or Visa. They
may also reserve a seat by sending a check to Seattle Audubon at 8050 35th
Ave. NE, Seattle, WA 98115. We absolutely cannot reserve them a seat
without payment in hand. Seats are going fast, so they should respond
soon.
Thanks very much. Lorraine at 523-8243

"Where The Birds Are"-travel with our birds on their Fall migration
Seattle Audubon Society presents a very special evening, Monday,
September 29th at 7:30pm with internationally respected naturalist
Dennis Paulson. Using superb photographs, Dennis will follow the
progress of our Washington birds to their winter homes in Mexico,
Costa Rica, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and Peru. Dennis Paulson
is Director of the Slater Museum of Natural History at the University
of Puget Sound and has inspired many throughout the Puget Sound region
with his teachings about birds, dragonflies and the natural habitats
of the Pacific Northwest.
The program will be held at the R.E.I.'s new "Flagship" store located
at 222 Yale Avenue North in Seattle. For your convenience, there is
an underground parking garage and an elevator. This is a rare
opportunity. Dennis is an engaging speaker. Space is limited and is
certain to sell out. The evening is a fundraiser to support Seattle
Audubon's efforts to protect birds and their habitat. $12 for
members; $15 for the general public, check payable to Seattle Audubon
Society.
