Subject: Tristram's Starling (Grackle)

I want to thank all of you who responded to my query on the above bird.
Particularly to Jerry Blinn of AviSys for providing the correct info. The
"Birds of Britain and Europe" that I mentioned I was using does list the
scientific name as "onycognathus tristramii", i.e., without the "h". I had
also checked Collins Illustrated Checklist of Birds of Eastern Africa" and
noticed a number of starlings with similar red on the wings with the
"onychognathus" genus name. I suspected that it might have been renamed as
a starling.
