Native American groups ("tribes") have hardly begun to assert rights
variously coded in treaties to non-timber forest, marine and other
resources. As I understand it this is still a very gray area legally.
Perhaps someone (Dale Goble) can illuminate us on this?

Tweeters is great. My only regret is that Michael Price and Don Baccus
don't speak up more and state their positions clearly and with enough
enthusiasm.
