Hi Tweeters,
I can highly recommend Bushnell for excellent binocular repair or
replacement. I have had both done, and most recently sent in my VERY
abused Sportviews for evaluation. I received a letter informing me that
they were beyond repair, and offering to either return them to me or make
another pair available at 1/3 the retail price ( I checked ). Needless to
say, I jumped at the chance for a great new pair at a great price ! I
received them in a timely manner, and have enjoyed the much better optics
ever since. Bushnell also returned my deposit check uncashed. I love
Bushnell, and I'm not even an employee 8^).
About birds, I haven't seen the Mountain Chickadee today, but the fall
warblers have arrived: A female Yellow Warbler, and what I THINK was an
Orange-crowned Warbler. It had overall greenish-yellow color, light
eyestripe, and a curious light-colored edge to its wing, not a wingbar but
just an edge on the part that attaches to the bird's body. No breast
striping either. Any IDeas ?
