Ruth Sullivan took photos of an interesting juvenile stint at Ocean Shores
on 19 August. First reported as a Long-toed, this bird is a fascinating
example of why stint identification ain't easy. Check it out at:

the other stint species.

If you have ideas about the identity of Ruth's stint, post it to tweeters
