Rich Hoyer and Hendrik Herlyn relocated the Whooper Swan Monday morning
Dec. 1 about 8:45 in southern Polk Co Oregon. It is with about 80 Tundra
and a few Trumpeter Swans. To reach it use Hwy 99W south from Monmouth or
north from Corvallis. Turn west at Airlie Rd., which is a couple of miles
south of Helmick State Park and maybe half a mile north of the Benton-Polk
County line (which has a sign). Go west past the town of Airlie and north
(the road turns) toward Maple Grove Rd. The swans were in fields there.
