Hi Tweets -

The Northern Mockingbird was is present this morning along the east side
of Russell Road just south of Anderson Park from 10:30 to 10:45. It was
along the flat top rail of the fenceline, and was doing a lot of picking
and eating. At one point it was harassed by a crow and flew about 50
yards further down the fence. The crow flew off. The bird resumed its
picking. It has a large white blotch on the upper surface of its tail.
It gave every appearance of staying around, until a large mowing machine
came past, at which point it flew across the Green River and into the
bare tree along the west side of the river.
