The Black Phoebe was located at the Washougal
STP yesterday 12/3 . It was in the Southwest corner.
Walk on the road past the first two holding ponds to
the small holding area with chain link fencing around it,
the Phoebe was flying between this area and the last holding
pond and the willows to the south. The gates were open
and one of the STP employees waved a greeting as he was leaving.
For those of you coming from the north to see the Phoebe, Take I-5
to I-205 to Highway 14 east through Camas to Washougal.
The STP is located about a mile east of Washougal on the right
side of Highway 14. There is a pullout area to park and the
first gate is located close to the road.As stated before, it would
probably be best to check in first.
