I am planning a trip to see some of the alcids that I have never
seen; particularly the Least Auklet, the Crested Auklet and the Paraleet
Auklet. I understand that the most practical place to see them is the
Pribilofs. I have heard various rumors about the difficulties of going
out there on one's own. So I'm looking for advice....what is the best way
to do this? Are there particularly good guided bird tours out there?
Which is the best month? Any of you that have been out there, I'd be
interested in your experiences and advice.
