Forgive me if this ends up on the board twice. It was sent yesterday morning
along with all the rest but for some reason this one in the middle of the
queue disappeared. I put up 'six' posts yesterday (this one lost), more than
should probably be allowed, and perhaps there 'is' a limit, per day, per week,
...anyone know? OTOH, and if not the listserv computer auto-delete, maybe
*Dan* had the good sense to cull this and censor the subject '-), thus nipping
it in the bud before it got out of hand. Anyway, one last time for this as
there are at least a couple points more important beyond 'my humble self' that
I'd like to make.

Anyway, this seems like an excellent idea for tweeters, as well. Is someone
with internet storage space (Dan?) willing to put a similar portrait page up
for Tweeters? Are Tweets willing to provide portraits? Or is a twice(?) a
year picnic and brewery tour enough personal contact for us? >>

Oh dear! Ugh-hmm... This was just about the *last* thing I would have ever
dreamed would pop up on 'tweeters', not to mention the 'subject line'. :-||
I'm at a loss for finding the right words here, for which I'm usually not in
want of when 'hiding' behind the keyboard. In real life, I'm about as humble
and low key as they come prefering to stay out of the lime light and know all
too well that I fall well short in the 'birding skills' department, or at
least the levels I'd like to be. Lots of practice, experiences, and visits to
lots diverse areas, yes, but still far far away from being someone to be
placed on some sort of pedistal above anyone else. Sheeesh! There are
countless others out there, many of whom are right here subscribed on
'tweeters', whom I greatly admire, respect, and envy for their encyclopedic
knowledge, skill levels, and ability to share that with others verbally and/or
in print. I find 'tweeters' one of the best and most friendly, informative,
and interesting birding message boards on the net, a place where everyone is
welcome and where no one should ever feel intimidated by all the chatter that
goes on here.

What?! We ('tweeters') have an annual picnic / brewery tour where we actually
get to meet (*SEE*) each other in person??! Yikes! What a frightening
thought! :-) Here, I thought we were all part of a group which Dennis Paulson
calls "The League of Never-seen Friends". LOL!! I hadn't actually seen or
heard this description before until Michael Price mentioned it recently.
