If you get to the San Juan Islands, you will have no trouble seeing Varied
Thrushes. I can't speak for the other islands, although I'm pretty sure
they probably have a good number of thrushes, too, but Orcas Island has a
large population. I think that all the Madrones on the islands help - they
love the berries and there has been a good harvest of those this year.
