A GREEN-TAILED TOWHEE was found on the 6th and seen again on the 7th
near the Skagit Game Range Headquarters Boat Launch parking lot. The
bird was seen in the company of WHITE-CROWNED, GOLDEN-CROWNED, SONG, and
LINCOLN'S SPARROWS in the corn stubble field between the lot and the HQ
building. Also in the area was an AMERICAN TREE SPARROW.

Two ROCK SANDPIPERS were reported from the Ocean Shores Jetty on the 3rd
and a YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD was found in a large flock of Red-wings in
the area.

A adult winter-plumage LITTLE GULL was seen off Harry Todd Park at
American Lake south of Tacoma on the 3rd.

A CATTLE EGRET was seen December 1st north of Silverdale and east of
State Route 3 in the large field as you travel north on the highway in
the Clear Creek Valley. That same day 2 MOUNTAIN QUAIL were present at
the NW corner of the South Port Orchard Airport.

A NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD has been present through the 1st near the Kent
Ponds, along the north end of Russell Road, just south of 212th. The
bird also likes a holly tree near some greenhouses across the river on
Frager Road.
