In bright sunlight ED's and non-ED bins/scopes have much the same
performance, but the fair test is in *low* light-level conditions--dusk,
overcast (does it ever get that way in Cascadia?), forest gloom--then ED
performance leaves non-ED glass looking dimly at rapidly receding tail-lights.
