Hi Tweets,

Has anyone noticed whether the Black-crowned Night Herons
are still using the roost site on Fir Island. I know 10 or so
were reported by Steve Mlodinow in October but there weren't any
when I checked it a couple of weeks ago, and Scott Downes tells me
that other birders have also missed them recently.
Any notes on recent sightings would be appreciated, a
friend of mine will be taking some young birders up there soon and
asked me about them.
