Yep.

They could have been hunting the gull itself, but equally likely is that
they were harassing it to drop any food it was carrying. The most
heartstopping 'eagle chasing gull' incident I ever saw ended up finally with
the gull dropping the piece of bread it was carrying, the eagle snatching
the bread up before it hit the water, and eating it. So much for the Mighty
Thunderbolt of the Sky.

And a hod-load of bricks for the terrified gull who must have thought it
about as entertaining as a drive-by shooting.
